Can anyone enlighten me on the Balmoral Hotel? My guide and maybe good friend moved us from the Presidente to the Balmoral. Not sure if he is bull$hitting me or not because of the reason. Some insight will be appreciated. OFT |

Have no idea why a travel agent would move you from the Prez to the Balmoral unless his commission is Much bigger. They do run many air / hotel packages with major airlines, but I see no other reason other then making more money for your guide. Balmoral has a $20.00 Chica fee, and the rooms are adequate but much older in every aspect. Many more options in town. Plus side 40 feet directly accross the street from the News Cafe/ Hotel Prez and dead center on Avenida Central for BM/DR access.. Other than that, look elsewhere as its a bit stuffy for my tastes. |
