Hotel choice ( in my opinion) should be picked on what you are looking for.....10 years of going to sjo ....I had the opion of many here.....hdr ...no way ...its for guys without a clue ....expensive. ...extra fee ....

So I see I can get a clean room for 50/55 ...so I give it a shot.....I am hooked ....reason 1 .... my Phuck count doubled .....instead of saying " I am going to take that girl on this trip when staying at a different hotel .....and never pulling the trigger...reasons ....getting her in the taxi .....I will look for her later,,,,, staying at the hdr....I pull the trigger ....for those who say ....they Phuck you and run....hell I am worst then they are....after the deed 90% of them I pay and hope they go

The early am is the deal breaker for me , last trip most every morning I went down to the floor in search of bj ....offered $40 and only a few times,,, was refused with higher price....since I am a early riser...most of wings want to get breakfast around 9 am....but then I have the am bj done....by day 6 ,,,, the am girls were looking for me

6 night stay ,,,,, still 3 to 4 hundred cheaper then the other....are there rooms better ,,,, yes ,,,, but I ask myself why am I here ,,,, to Phuck ,,,, its hands down the best place for that

Hey guys. I am planning my 2nd trip to SJ 1st week of Dec. Last time I stayed at SL and had a great time. I have considered staying there this time. I am also considering Del Rey and Scores. Besides the girls and close proximity to the center of all the fun, how do you rate staying at either HDR or Score for hotel accommodations/amenities?

HDR -there are better choices out there, like Scores! Some love the place and will disagree - Sportsmans, Scores, La Amestad, Zona II are better choices. Why - this is my opinion, but its backed up by observations over many years - the vibe the average HDR guest gives off (no - not every single one.....) is that of a newbi. I think the girls - especially the hard core finish in 15 min's type - LOVE having the combo of new guy, staying an elevator ride away, and being a poor negociator to boot. You will expand your horizons if you stay elsewhere and if you speak with guys with a clue about Costa Rica. You will learn even more if you take a tour with someone like Esposo de Barbie (who you can PM on this site). As far as the HDR goes, I have stayed there - and can certainly understand, especially by new guys - the attraction to do so. Also, for food, especially casual food, its not terrible, but you are paying American prices - far better is Chubbs next door. While I would not base a hotel decision on who might or might not be available at 3AM or 4AM (hint - its not the "A" team ) its your money and your choice - but you are on the right track with Sportsmans.

If you never stayed at HDR you ought to at least once just to experience being in the belly of the beast. The other little boutique hotels are more friendly and personal, but their chica selection is small and hit or miss. Many guys prefer the quieter, classier more relaxed hotels and you still can go visit HDR, pick out your fave and take her back. I have stayed at HDR numerous times over 10 years and love it, but I know a lot of people don't like the loudness, the wildness and the tricky chicas who can easily out maneuver the not so skilled whether they are 1 year experienced or 1 year experienced 10 times claiming 10 years experience. If you know how to lay down the law and negotiate with the chicas to get what you want, then it's a great place to stay. There's chicas available from 6 am on and you constantly have massive numbers of them parading about, you can even talk to one and get her cell number for a later date. If you're timid and unsure of yourself and you let the chicas dictate what will happen, how much they will be paid and when they will be paid, stay away, you will be eaten alive like so many who are newbies as well as 10 year visitors who never caught on. You can go to the other places and have fun as well, they have their chica selections, there's definitely some gems there and they have more down home personal attention and you can always visit HDR, various MP's and other places and bring them to your room no matter where you stay. If you're a manly man and know how to get what you want, stay at the Rey, you'll have a blast. If you're a nervous Nelly, scared and confused and easily conned, stay away, you'll be carrion for the female vultures!

OK, for all you bbbj lovers who are lucky enough to be at HDR in the early am, as early as 6:00 to 6:30 am, you may encounter "Vanessa". She's a bit long in the tooth these days, and she's not the most beautiful of the bunch, but those of us who remember her from the Mesozoic Era of 2006 , 2007, 2008, etc., remember she was one of -and still is- one of the absolute best at this game. She typically can be had for $50 to $60, and besides one of the most fantastic bbbj givers, she's been working out and still has a reasonably tight bod for an old gal and is open to "interesting" requests as well... Between HDR and SCORES......no question Scores. Room prices should be spectacular then, just talk to Jeff. You can always go to HDR and pick up expensive girls and bring them back, no chica fee. December brings great rates at Scores, Zona, Sportsmans and if you eat a lot, Armistad. Scores is the choice over HDR every time.

Everyone has their own opinion and you are not going to change many, if any, no matter what you say or think. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion (even if it is wrong ). Everyone has their reasons (usually different from others) for staying where they do, and to them the reasons are justifiably good reasons; to others they are pouring water into a bucket with no bottom. My suggestion is that you read the responses here, make as intelligent a decision as you can and stay at the place you decide on. NON of the choices mentioned here are bad. They all have their pluses and minuses depending on who you are talking to. SAME IS TRUE OF THE CHICAS!!! As we say "One guy's 10 is another's 4"!!! After you get here check out the other places and then decide which you want for your next trip--and if you are like most, THERE WILL BE A NEXT TRIP!!!! All this said I visited here for 10 years before moving here. This was back before the SL, Zona2, Scores, Amistad even existed, and I NEVER STAYED AT THE REY!! Does that tell you how I feel about the place!! But again that is my opinion- you HAVE TO decide for yourself!!!
