Hi I'm looking on recent info on Hotel Vesuvio. Is it still a CRT sponsor and Chica friendly. I have not seen any new info on this for some time so would appreciate any current info. Thanks

About 4 years ago it used to be a pretty crummy place and just a cheap place to sleep. Was girl friendly.
I would be wary of this place unless someone can give you a good updated report. Great location though.
Between Sportsman and La Amistad.

It is ok if you get one of the larger rooms upstairs. The mattresses are similar to the one's that were in Hotel Castillo - well used. There is not much sound proofing between the rooms, but you won't hear many chicas there. It is chica friendly. Do not book through their website, you will pay too much. The email address that will go directly to the hotel is info@hotelvesuvio.com. You should be able to get one of the larger rooms for under $50.

It was earlier reviewed as a DUMP and remains a DUMP.

CRT member checked into his scheduled room only to find someone else is already in the room? Can we all say SECURITY BREACH?

Why would anybody rent there when LA Amistad is right next door?? Don't be resistant to phoning and speaking with the owner directly (MATT) and working out your own deal according to your own needs if you require something that's even a tad bit different. My experience is that MATT will bend over backwards to earn your business if he has the space.

However, back to the Vesuvio: DUMP. 86 it on your list. It is not just a security nightmare, it is indeed a DUMP. And that is coming from first hand knowledge with eyes on the ground: I toured it not six months ago.

However, go ahead and book it and then, please come back to the forum and make me out a liar. Please. 8)

I don't know what criteria Steven1 uses to evaluate a hotel, but I have stayed at the Vesuvio numerous times and it is not a dump. It is clean and I've never seen any bugs. IMO, the rooms on the second floor are more comfortable than the small rooms at the Amistad because of the the size and the size of the bathroom. All the rooms on the second floor have windows that open to the outside. I have entertained quite a few chicas there and none of them have complained about the room.

Good day John thanks for the reply. I just booked this hotel during the Superbowl as SL and LA booked.
I'm paying $60 per night. I'm sure I'll be ok with this place. Right next to SL and LA.

Thanks again.
