Even though my trips may be limited this year I may still be interested Tex, I figured the place in Escazu was too pricey and far away for our activities. I think I mentioned my amigo that has a 3/2 furnished with security in Sabanna for 500/mo. Keep me posted, by the way- what are the initiation rituals to become a member of Delta Pie? ![]() |

If you find a 3 bedroom let me know. I'm not interested in sharing a room but if I could have my own-sounds good. Wouldn't mind sharing but on my schedule. |

C*m on can't you guys be serious for just one minute ![]() Anyway this afternoon one of the bartenders from the BM took Hans and I to see her house in San Pedro. Absolutely nice and Big 3 bedroom truthfully, $500/month. We walked around a bit and looked at a couple of 3 bed apartments for around $400, so-so but promising to be able to find something good for reasonable. This can definitely work out in my opinion I was very encouraged from what I saw today. The house was perfect for Delta Pi there must be others like it, just will take a little hunting which I am enjoying. The rentals are generaly bare it seems - no fridge stove nada so unless finding something furnished will be a little bit of a challenge. I looked through a furniture/appliance store which was a little depressing. But then again I have spent thousands of dollars at Hotel Presidente so it is not rocket science to make the numbers work. We'll keep you posted and Delta Pi House Warming to be announced... |

Quote: The rentals are generally bare it seems - no fridge stove nada If you are not familiar with Costa Rica rentals that may be a surprise. UNFURNISHED means unfurnished not only bare rooms but bare kitchen...no appliances. Quote: I looked through a furniture/appliance store which was a little depressing
Forget US prices all appliances, electronics are about double US price if bought new. Best to see if you can buy from someone leaving the country but even then they think the fridge they bought 5 years ago for $300.00 is worth at least $325.00 now. |

Guys, I am also interested in renting an apartment in San Jose. Any suggestions in finding furnished apartments in a safe location? Not need to be near the gulch. Thanks, Dildo Man |
