Being they are flying Boston to Liberia, non-stop once a week so perhaps not much help for guys coming to SJO but still good info.

What's the P4P scene in Liberia? If there is any and how far is it from San Jose and Jaco?

As far as I know, P4P is non-existent in Liberia. However, the airport there is the gateway for anyone going to Guanacaste including Tamarindo and all the big resorts up in that area.

Liberia is about 4.5 hours from San Jose and perhaps 4 hours from Jaco.
