The strongest Wifi's that I've used that are CONSISTENTLY good , and do not get overloaded and slow because of so many users, are at Sportsmen, ScoreS and Zona 2. |

ScoreS is on Calle 3A, near the corner of Avenida 9......right next to Zona 2. They're both about a 8-10 minute walk from the Rey. ScoreS and Zona 2 are both excellent MPs/hotels that are very popular in our hobby. |

I usually only spend 2 days in SJ before heading down to Puerto Viejo for a few weeks and I haven't even been/found Soda Peru yet..... |

Soda Peru is a good find also. It's on Calle 3A, just up the hill from ScoreS/Zona 2, near the corner of Avenida 7. |

I have been there three times. They are very slow, average food, and expensive. The last time I went, I got a shrimp pasta and soup for the lady who was the bartender at Zona-2 (not there now). The cost was over 9000 colones (almost $20). I don't plan to patronize them again. |

I thought they were supposed to be excellent and cheap? |
