(602) 553-8178 is their gringo number, 8-5 Pacific time. Please let us know what you thought of the place when you get back. I've seen it many times but never was inside, heard mixed reviews from my friends, not to scare you off, maybe growing pains for the latest owners?
If you haven't been there before, it's one of the few in MA one would consider staying at that does not have a pool, though it is just across the street from the beach after a bit of a walk--it ain't what I would call "beach or water front" is my point. I could care less about a pool if everything else is good, but alot of people really enjoy one.
Another q that would come to my mind is the bus/delivery truck/taxi/motorcycle noise--this hotel is located close to the dead-end and the big U-turn to go back to Quepos, and that's a constant noisy to noisier fact that starts pretty early in the a.m., way before the morning sun clears that hotel's particular mountain/canopy and that U turn is busy, busy, busy and loud all day.
Don't know if you've been there before and really want that place, or whatever. I know of a few in that 1/4 mile area probably in the same price range that you may like better, just sayin. PM me if you are interested.
