Hi, I have been to Super Bowl Sunday in Costa Rica for 4yrs. The SL and DR have big parties. I usually watch it at LaAmistad.

The Sportsman's Lodge seems to be the traditional place to watch the game in the Gulch/Barrio Amon. it is an excellent venue for this purpose and others of course.

Echo the above Posters but it comes down to who do you want to be partyin' with? And what kind of scene?
I'm partial to selecting a venue from our Sponsors list (known quantity)--but hey "run what you brung."

<< This Post is admittedly a punt.

Sportsmans, La Amistad, Chubbs, Mona Lisa, Dunn Inn, Scores, Zona 2, maybe at the Del Ray but there will be distractions, and numerous other lesser known spots with a TV, even hardcore tico bars, even strip clubs, if you are really into the game?

Am I into the game? Depends, I might be. But I may get sidetracked. I think the idea of watching the Super Bowl in a bordello and banging a chica at halftime is irresistible. Something to tell my grandchildren.

:D :D In the words of and old poster on CRT, now maybe deceased, "Life is good.", especially or maybe only, in Costa Rica. I still love this country!

Just to be different: This site lists some places you might want to avoid on that or other nights (but then again...): http://costaricagaymap.com/ << for those interested, Pucho's is up and running again after a bad fire in June...of course those interested would already know this.

First crt superbowl party i went to ZB in 2005. I ate at the buffet and as they sang the national anthem at the start of the game i was already in a room with vanessa  . At halftime they drew names for the raffle i won a 3some, but i was still in the room. I came out found out i had won and grabbed another girl. I think i saw the last few minutes of the game.

Although scores isnt my kind of place they do have the best tv's in the area and thats the place i would recommend.

Priorities are priorities, we only have a finite amount of bullets in our gun, but we can always watch the superbowl in the nursing home.
