Had a blast at LA first of all $79-89 (queen /king) all inclusive is a great deal since I'm traveling alone I don't wanna worry about food and coffee and water and meals but !! LA food is pretty damn good. I mean I was expecting burger and sandwiches not seafood pasta w 3 courses. Or med chicken

And I don't drink. If you drink it's even a better deal. I was thinking about picking up a drinking habit just recoup my cost ;)

Room : clean and comfortable
No train noise .. Slept like the dead .. Train doesn't run on weekends -weekdays barely noticeable and I'm a light sleeper. And!! It's not a freight train you people make it seem like a csx freight ...it's a damn light commuter rail train ... Like a subway
Those who complain must be from ohio ... Where crickets are too loud for you.

Major home run!! Wifi strong as Phuck.. Life saver.

Matts good host. Hotel staff also friendly seem like they had yo best interest.

So ...how did they save me!! They drew me in w their all inclusive and saved me from the hotel down block.. One guy described hotel down block as a frat house (w girls on site). It's convenient but truth is I can't stay in a brothel 24/7. It's Too much.... I like relaxing I like my peace and quiet. Some of guys in these places are really nice but some are abrasive loud drunkards ... No class and weird. Some come down to cr and they lose their minds and become classless drunks.



LA seems have less of those guys.

You can say that again. :roll:

Sounds as if you were there this past Saturday and witnessed the same incident I did: the scene when one of those individuals you refer to tried to pick up a gringo's girlfriend (not a pro, a woman who happened to be there to visit a hotel guest along with her bf).

The problem started when the drunk asked the boyfriend where he had found that puta, she was hot and he wanted to phuck her or words to that effect.

The woman got upset, threw a drink in the drunk's face, and the boyfriend (a very large gent, like 6'5" and in decent shape) got in the middle and was about to kill the drunk.

Fortunately Amistad staff was on the ball and quickly intervened to defuse the situation.

My understanding is the drunk - who I had witnessed making an ass out of himself several times over the days I was there - is no longer welcome at HLA.

Kudos to Matt for keeping the riffraff out.

I was there that past weekend. It was my first time staying at LA. Been there for lunch and dinner in the past. The food at LA is excellent. Matt and his staff are top-notch. The rooms are clean and the hotel is a great place for a down time. I had the all-inclusive, which is the best deal in the gulch. Matt treated me like a friend and my over night guest the same courtesy he show his paying guest. I met a bunch of great guys there, some whom I still keep in contact with.

Nice meeting you East and I hope to see you in SJ again. Thanks Matt for everything and I hope to see you very soon.
