Which frankly is a mistake given his position and the business he is in - look how well it worked out for Dirty Jeff at HLH.
Sorry, I'm not a business consultant, but I can't understand why this would be the case, since a fair percentage of your business could come from boards like CRT. Its low hanging fruit, for goodness sakes, plus all the positive comments do nothing but enhance your business.
Say what you will, but for all his faults Boyd did a good job at what I just described, and Bill at the Sportsmans does too. You want guys posting about what a great guy you are and how much they like your hotel - what is also strange is I don't remember anything negative being posted about Guy - for the record, I met him once and he seemed to be a very nice person.
Not saying you have to have a post count approaching the late Irish Drifter, but it would seem to me as apparant as dog shit on a dinner plate that reading the board, responding, posting (as long as you don't approach the level of a Frank Casio <anyone remember that dweeb - he was as shameless a promoter of his place in Mediallin Colombia, as they came - cheap, too - was not even a paid VIP CRT member
