$502 seems like its totally flexible. friday, sat, sun. the site says no additional baggage claim. looks like they are trying to fill the absence of nonstops on taca.

that's cheaper than out of Dallas/DFW, may be an introductory fare only remains to be seen.
but it seems to me a decent price for now, anyway

But they are not daily flights though. I don't think they fly on thu, for example.
Outbound is 1100pm to 530am

idk they seemed to have a flight almost everyday i tried including fridays and saturdays which never happened w taca. just got a flight price of $476 from yapta. thats the best i've seen in years and its non stop so long taca nice to know you.
and i like red eyes. plus getting in early means less people, traffic, time in customs etc. i just head straight for my apartment anyway. sleep a couple of hours and i have a full day in front of me.
now the flight out at 7am kinda sucks but you cant have it all.

If it was a good enough price I'd take it but that doesn't seem like such a great price.
Anyway I always prefer a short stop on the way if they let you get out - otherwise it's too long sitting in a cramped plane. And then there's always some crying brat behind me that I'm anxious to escape...

well out of LA that price is about as good as it gets for the last two years.
the Taca flights that stop are 7hrs and 15 min and 7hrs and 30 min instead of a straight 5 hr 30min on the nonstop. so you would rather fly 5 hours and stop? whatever tickles your pickle mate.

Oh man, non stop please. Used to be with Taca, 4 years ago? same plane, wouldn't have to deboard, just sit for an hour or so. Now all the bs of going thru a security check again w/ your carry on, huge pain in the ass. But, still the best, 2 bags free, drinks, movie, decent airplane food though I read a negative post recently that now they're Avianca, down on the food and tight on the drinks.

yeah i posted that taca wouldnt serve drinks on its red eye down from LA because it "is morning time". the food was about the same.
not that its a deal breaker but still. and leaving CR and stopping in Guat they make you get off and walk the distance of the airport w all your carry on. and if you brought alcohol from CR guess what?
they confiscate it.
