Again, thanks SL. Bill, Danny, Poppa Bill and the staff all treated me like family...once again.

When I needed to extend my trip to finish a recording project, Manfred and Susan made everything easy for me, from changing my flight reservation to finding me rooms for the six extra nights.

The bar staff as always was great, although the daytime crew did a better job in general serving me than did the night crew. A special thanks to Carol, Nelin, Nana and Mileidi during the mornings; they always greeted me with a kiss and hug to accompany my cup of coffee. As always, what a joy to see Nela and Mauritza again, as well as newcomers Krystal and Rebecca...well, Rebecca isn't exactly a newcomer, but I did get to know her better this trip. Maritza is a fun lady and always had a friendly and (at times) even sexy greeting for me. BTW, tipping doesn't hurt...

The restaurant at the SL has improved, even since my last visit. I had superb steaks and seafood, but even the usual bar fare was fantastic! Bien hecho, todo el mundo.

A couple small suggestions for the bar staff: First, wipe of the tabletops once in awhile. I can't count the number of times I put my hands into suspicious stickiness and/or black dust blown in through the window. Yuck.  Also, night crew...work harder, please. I know it gets crazy sometimes, but c'mon! It's your job. Otherwise, the bar/restaurant experience at the SL was very, very good.

I befriended numerous guys on the security detail and spent many late night/early morning hours (when I was without overnight company) discussing everything from politics to spirituality...and I also heard more than one belly-busting joke from the guys. Thanks Ballardo and all the rest; I always feel protected while staying at the SL.

Finally, a great big "thank you" to Sra. Marta Vaez and the housekeeping staff. I never wanted for clean towels, and my room was carefully cleaned every day. I tip the room maids generously, typically $4.00/day. I'm not surprised at the level of good service, but I am grateful.

The SL doesn't need my kind comments to grow their business, but I wanted to thank everyone there for the wonderful 22 night stay. The SL is my home in Costa Rica, and I seldom have any reason to seek lodgings elsewhere.

Hola Ciego. Any intel on Kristal? Is she as good in the sack as she looks and walks? Been thinking on pulling the trigger on her.

Well, I don't know if Kristal is on the program; I would guess not, as she could lose her bartending gig, if she went with a hotel guest. If she's a "putender" (half puta, half bartender), I don't know anything about it.

I will tell you this: One night according to the reports of friends with eyesight, Kristal was wearing a top so low-cut that it barely covered the tops of her areolae; each time she bent over, an acre of sweet hot cleavage was exposed to view. Wow!

I don't want to start the whole "I want to do a bartender" controversy again here, but if any bartender is available for pay-for-play, it will cost you. One former SL bartender offered a lovestruck gringo pal of mine her company for $300.00/hour. :P

As a former bartender in the USA -- and I believe this would apply anywhere else in the world, based on my extensive travel experience -- unless your sole goal is to bag a barkeep, the amount of effort and/or cash involved is not worth it. Stick to our side of the bar or find out where the barkeeps hang out when they are not working. I've been with a few of the HDR, KL and SL barkeeps and they are pretty much about a 7 on the scale.

Damn it! This topic *will not* become a discussion of the pros and cons of trying to Phuck a bartender! Cut it out right now, or I'm taking my baseball and going home... :P

Hmmmm. Now I do not know if we are talking about the same Krystal. I've seen her twice but on the other side of the bar. Curly blonde hair, natural tits.

The times I have been there I usually gravitate to Rebeca or Adriana for drinks a kiss and a hug.

Thanks
