I am thinking of going to SJ for a couple of months. I would like some recent info on long term stays close to the gulch. I've gone through the old threads and visited the website of Vista Linda. Does anyone have current info on Vista Linda apartments....personal reviews, condition of apartments, location, etc...

Maybe other suggestions?

cheers,
Attila

I have found a few on Craigslist that I am looking at. When are you planning on being there. If it is after me I can let you know what I found but I am looking in San Pedro, Zapote and Santa Ana and have a few good prospects that are furnished and under 700 per month.

I paid $500 at Vista Linda for the month of January, 2013.

IMHO, that's a pretty good price for what I got.

I have been looking at those too but was thinking taking a favorita back might not be the best idea. Did you have any female guests and were there any issues if you did.

I don't think there is a problem with chicas. They have many mongers that stay there.

Vista Linda is very chica friendly.

Many girls know the location and seem willing to come there -----like Willy Sutton, because that's where the money is.

One favorita recognized another resident who was walking about in the common area as a former customer......she wasn't phased by the sighting and neither was I.

That is good to know. I am debating on having a 2nd base available in the gulch area and that might be a good option. I am trying to do my next visit low key and not going to be spending all my time in the gulch.
