Travelled to San Jose Mar 22-27, 2013.

Reserving was easy via email. Sid has this down to a science.

As promised Sid was waiting for me when I landed with; a phone, a sim card loaded with minutes and a cold Pilsen!!!

As this was my 1st trip to SJ he was the perfect tour guide on the trip into town and gave me some great tips on things I might enjoy outside the gulch. Gave me a quick tour around the gulch, even found me an ATM that would give my Canadian card money, and got me to Hotel Mona Lisa in short order.

As we were unloading my luggage 3 beauties came out looking for a taxi and Sid, ever the gentleman made introductions all around. My complete lack of self-control must have been evident :shock: as Sid prudently pulled me aside and suggested some C's at as reasonable a price as his rides!!!

Sid was early picking me up for my return to the airport and patiently waited as I made the rounds saying my goodbyes to the wonderful staff at the ML. The ride back was full of friendly banter and definately felt like getting a lift from an old friend.

Without hesitation I'd recommend One Lucky Dogg.

Cmon Already! He does a great job and isn't the purpose to say good and bad about Costa Rica to help everyone who are planning trips? Enough ragging on Sid for doing a great job.

I've taken a few different vehicles to and from the airport. None were great. If this guy provides a great service then talk him up. I like options.

imo one of the biggest issues of this crt is no one consolidating unnecessary threads. you end up with 10 mona lisa threads all over the board. not interested in the job but if someone was paying attention to it the board gets some form instead of what amounts to clutter.
regardless of how you feel about Sid i think this sentiment could have easily been expressed in any of the other threads going on the board. jmho

LAdiablo is spot on, I'm just sick of thread after thread saying the same stuff.......really, it appears some businesses are asking people to do this like the one that said Mona Lisa was packed with people and chicas....really, I was just there two weeks ago and it was a ghost town every time I went.....i must have just missed it! I'm going again the end of April, who wants to bet me a session that everytime I go it will be a ghost town? Don't get me wrong I would LOVE for that place to compete with the rey.

Just too many people with agendas here now. CRT is becoming a never ending infomercial.....I'm waiting for RONCO to start advertising on here. :roll:

I have no problems with reports about Mona Lisa, but come on.. Make it into a trip report and weave it into what happened in between leaving/ going from the airport!!
