Sportsmens Lodge, Hotel Amistad, Dunn Inn, Hotel Del Rey and Hotel Little Havana all have free Wifi. Some rooms in Amistad have wired LAN connections.

I imagine Mona Lisa (the old Clarion) will also offer free Wifi, but I don't know that for a fact.

Don't know about Castillo, Hemingway, Morazan, or Freebird - you'll have to contact them directly or maybe another member can chime in about those venues.

Castillo has free wifi. Works fine in most rooms, I have had one room that it would only work near the door of the room but not by the bed. But for the most part free dependable wifi throughout the hotel.

Internet connection speeds are not that great in most properties in Barrio Amon, if your Hotel has a hard wire connection bring your cable to hook up, it may improve the speed a bit. The best connection I ever had in Latin America was in Buenos Aires. Also, the name brand hotels are very good. I have been staying at the Marriott Residence INN in Escazu recently and the Wi-Fi there is pretty good. Never had great service in places like the Dunn Inn, Amistad and HLH but at least it was available and free. Better than nothing, but if you have to do work like me on vacation it is important to have a good connection of course.
