SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ – JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ:JBLU) announced today plans to add daily nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica, effective June 27, 2013 (a). Flights are available today at www.jetblue.com/new for as low as $129 one way from Fort Lauderdale to San Jose for travel between June 27 and August 8, 2013. Blackout dates apply (b). WOW-THIS IS GREAT NEWS FOR DUDES LIKE ME THAT LIVE 15 MINUTES FROM FLL!!! I always liked Jetblue but had to settle for Spirit, this is awesome news!! As well as the MDE deal as well! |

thats good news for us SoFla guys. Competition is good. Riding on Spirit feels like boarding at a greyhound bus station. Through the years many airlines have flown the route, Iberia, American, and my all time favorite Martinair |

Both stopped servicing MIA/SJO when the Transit Without Visa program was discontinued which meant that their European passengers who were traveling to SJO had to get a U.S. tourist visa even though they were not leaving the Miami airport. |

This is great news. JetBlue is so much better of a airline then spirit. I also live 15 mins from FLL and have to settle for using spirit and all there fees |
