Apparently, AA is in merger talks with US Airways. Article posits that mergers increase complaints.

Brother El. I can tell you that a merger would be the best thing for those 2 failing airlines. I pick up many clients coming in on A.A., and they by far have the worst on time % of any airline flying into SJO.

It would also provide both airlines more cities for people to connect through. Something that customers would love.
