If you search Kayak right now for a flexible month long look at flights (I used 5 to 8 days length).. from Atlanta to SJO you will find prices as low as $340 RT...I think most of those are from USAIR and Spirit......Clark Howard had this on his website....I think prices will be good if booked by the 10th of Jan.
