I'm booked at the SL in March, although I've been staying at the Amistad for the most part lately. I've stayed in a few of the 2nd floor rooms in the modern wing but always further down the hall than the Mirador room, which I understand is different than the other and can be noisy.

I'm tryng to decide whether I want to stay at Sl, in the Mirador, or whether I want to go back to Amistad. I don't like to stay in the old wing for obvious reasons and franky I don't think the mansion wing is worth the price. Does anybody have any photos of the Mirador room? I did a search in the gallery and came back empty, so I thought I'd ask you fine gents.

I stayed in Mirador a couple of months ago. Sorry I didn't take photos of the room(just the chicas  ). You'll like it though. Nice window that overlooks the back street and the awning that's at the back of the downstairs bar. Only drawback is the noise that chicas make with their heels going down the stairs and the commotion housekeeping makes in the morning. There's no dresser in the room so if you have a lot of luggage you'll have to keep it all tucked in the closet.

not so fast Hank. PI is still a possibility, but I got a free flight to CR so I couldn't turn that down.
