My wingman and I are about to book two rooms at the Sportsmens. We are thinking of the Club House. Anyone have an opinion on the Fiesta or Alegria rooms. I don't want to book a great room for myself and leave my wingman with a totally inferior room.

Appreciate suggestions.

I just stayed in Alegria in October and liked it. The it's smaller than other rooms at the SL and it has all the regular amenities other rooms have. The only "issue" you may come across is the noise from the street. Alegria faces the street and if you turn in early, you can hear the drivers and people smoking out front but the noise dies down when the bar closes.

The Amistad room is also on the clubhouse side and I highly recommend it. Big room, about twice the size of Alegria with separate bathroom and shower and a bigger bed. It's more expensive than Alegria or Fiesta even though it's in the clubhouse side. But like you said, you don't want to stick your buddy with an inferior room.

I plan on checking out Fiesta on my next trip as I like the clubhouse side and Alegria/Fiesta are cheaper. I feel like the clubhouse side is a little more private as long as there aren't a bunch of guys hanging out watching TV in the common area room just outside the Alegria/Fiesta small hallway. I got ended up in a room in the bar area once and that may explain why I like the clubhouse side better.

Thanks for the info. Maybe I'll book Pura Vida for myself and let my buddie have the Amistad.
