It is apparent to me that someone here on CRT doesn't like my business model of Just4Tips airport shuttle. They have arrange for me to go to SJO on 2 blank trips to pick up someone who is not really coming in. I really don't know what your problem with me is. I strive to help out fellow CRT members by providing excellent service, while not hurting your pocketbook. I offer a great service, great conversation and good incite of Costa Rica and the Gulch. This is why I have received good reviews from fellow members. I think I have got a pretty good idea who you are. I am not going to post the 2 members names at this time but reserve the right to call you out. All I can say is, good luck to you. Karma is a bitch. I will not stoop to your level and return the favor. I have made adjustments in picking up fellow CRT members so I won't be scammed, wasting my time and money. I will continue to offer a professional service and make new friends along the way. Thank you for your support.

If you are positive that they are person who they claimed to be when they gave you the booking out them.

They do not deserve anonymity.

I agree with you I.D. However, being a man of good faith, I have sent them both numerous emails just to see if these guys are ok. Who know's they may be dead. Neither has responded. Therefore I don't think it is a coincidence rather a set-up. Of course they could always be embarrassed to respond, hence me giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I concur with Brother Irish Drifter. I would surely "out" these doofuses on the board. I think the service you offer is most desirable and I have full intentions of contacting you to arrange transport when next I visit. (first of the year oh boy)

Not assuming the worst, if they "contracted" with you and did not show - and refused to give you a reason (cancelled the trip, missed the flight, etc) - no reason not to "out" them - agree with the posters above 100% - we have enough jack off's going to Costa Rica - what they did at best was rude, and if they have refused to respond - out those fuckers :!:

Could be "industrial sabotage" so to speak. A competitor getting nervous and looking to screw with your service. I can think of one doucebag driver in SJO who could easily resort to this type of business tactic.

You are probably right but I will not accuse the such party unless I am 100% sure. Kinda funny those 2 douchbags won't return my emails or explain themselves.

Having been in the transportation business I definitely empathize with ya. I probably wouldn't have announced it though. I like my revenge to come out of nowhere, unexpected. Nice service you are doing there. :D

Flights can get cancelled and emergencies can force one to change plans, but anyone with any class would contact you immediately. The individuals involved do not deserve the benefit of doubt if they do not have that decency. The fact that you have given them the consideration that the so obviously have not given you says a great deal about your character. I look forward to meeting you in December making a new friend.

I agree, things can come up ie cancelled flights, etc. But you would think comin courtesy would be to let you know as soon as possible.

I'm coming back down next week and thinking about using your services....ilk shoot you a PM when I get all the details worked out.

Just an update. I had another request for a pickup yesterday for an upcoming trip. When I requested a copy of his itinerary, photo and U.S. phone number, he declined saying that it is all traceable. I explained that he could block his pertinent information like address, last name and email address but he declined. I also offered him a paypal option to pre-pay and he reclined due to it being traceable as he said. (you could always use a bud's paypal account and give him the cash) He could even deposit cash in my U.S. bank account. Not traceable. All declined. I checked his CRT profile, guess what/ He's a new member with no post. This leads me to believe it's another scam. I been on CRT for quit some time and know many members here. I have lived in Costa Rica now for 6 years. I have a good honest reputation and do things the right way. People know me and trust me in confidence. I have no desire to get anyone's personal info, just provide a service and make new friends along the way. I've been had twice and may be had again but I am not going to make it easy. It's really a shame some people can't live and let live.

Thanks RAC, I'm not discouraged. I am a member of another forum here in Costa Rica, mostly pension-ado's and have never had any problems. They are on a tight budget so the tips are not as good but it's rewarding to help some of the people of wisdom. Just a big difference. I believe I have a good idea who the member is and will expose him shortly. He must think I am a stupid redneck. We'll see.
