i stopped at the microbrewery the other day. beautiful location overlooking lake arenal, very friendly staff. they have a nice pool, an all-too-rare-in-CR tennis court, skate park, pool table and good beer. rates are $100 pp pd for lakeview room and all the food/booze you can humanly ingest. i found the menu prices for walk-ins to be remarkably low although i didnt order anything. same owner as witchs rock in tamarindo which does bangup business. major props to this guy for his success building a company down here, an impossible feat according to many on this board and he started from nothing supposedly. |

interesting venue. Has someone tried all the microbrews on the lineup? some of them looked pretty dark for that tropical climate. I wonder if you ate and drank to much, if you would be pulled aside by the staff and counselled? The menu looks delicous. fred757

any asslickers? that looks like a nice place. how big it that jacuzzi grotto. hard to tell from the photo. any idea if the grounds are open to guests at night? |
