Hello all, This is Greg from HLH. For those who do not know me I am one of the partners and have been working alongside Boyd for the last 9 months. 1. As you all know Boyd had to leave suddenly due to family matters. 2. I along with help from friends and the other partners are running the hotel. Everything is proceeded along as usual. Please be assured HLH will continue to be a fun venue for the CRT community. We appreciate all the showing of support from friends an associates over the last 9 months. . 3. We do not know when/if Boyd will be returning. 4. Promotions such as cash is king, happy hour, etc. will continue . 5. If you have any concerns or suggestions feel free to PM me. 6. Thanks for the clarification. As many I have spoken to, We have stood by and waited for information directly from the source instead of needless speculation. Thanks again to Greg/Elwayy for posting. Hi Greg, Thanks for the update, I'm sure it's appeciated by all. I meet you back in February when I stayed at HLH. Thanks for helping make my stay memorable. I have reservations for October (Halloween weekend) I just want to ease my concerns and make sure all the reservations are still ok and won't be affected with the new developments. I have had the good fortune to spend time talking with all of the partners at HLH. They are all good guys IMHO. They each bring unique assets and skills to their venture. I thank them every day for providing a great venue for all of us. Remember, too, that the rack-rate for the girls at HLH is only $25 for an hour. Several of the best in SJ come there every day to work. I've discussed this point with all of the partners.......and with some of the girls. I'm not foolish enough to think that the girls make their independent decisions to work there solely because of the character of us mongers who frequent HLH. A lot of their decision is driven by the nature of the management and staff there. We should be thankful for that. I'll be back at HLH in October and further on. I expect that I'll have my usual great time there. RAC |

Oh what the hell, I choose HLH because of the people on this board and thier reccomendations and was pleased many times over. The hotel was fantastic all the way around. But since you and the other owners are reding this board constantly because of the "incident" I might as well make a reccomendation. I loved the room and the place but I would say if it is possible to put the windows back in. I know it is costly but it did play a little havoc with my internal clock. Also put out some form of TLN rates and I would never leave. |
