Post subject:  HLH vs HDR - Rooms quality n cost
Guys
I hace zeroed in on these two becuase i prefer not to go out often and rather have good inhouse choices!
So how do the rooms in these two compare in terms of newer construction/amenties like fridge microwave couch etc?
I also prefer a quite room so i guess HLH is better.
And which one offers a deal like stay 4 nights and get one free?
2. What is room cost at HDR for a 1 hour session? (i know about) the $10 surcharge

This is the biggest NO BRAINIER ever......HLH!!! Not even close.

The "one hour session" at HDR varies depending on your negotiating skills, the girl, time of day/night, many factors. Girls usually will drop their prices if you look like Scuba1......out of sympathy :lol: :roll: :mrgreen:

HLH is straight forward, set pricing with a great selection of girls, great rooms and a super cigar lounge on site managed by Boyd's assistant, Wiseash :lol: .

Concur with seabreeze,

rooms at HLH are WAY nicer than HDR (HDR rooms are dumpy) and no chica fee at HLH.

Do what I do. Stay at HLH. During the day dabble with the HLH girls then at night pull a girl from HDR/MB/KL or SL and take a 3 minute taxi ride back to HLH. ( I have made a bitch walk from SL to HLH at night before in heals because there was not a cab at SL, it's down hill all the way!) metered taxi ride is like 800 colones.

Staying at HDR means older rooms, may be noisier and you are paying $12 to $15 extra for each girl you take to your room.
Also at the HDR you are operating in "The SHARK tank" and need to be a good negotiator and have good interview skills to get what you want. Also expect to pay $60 to $100 per hour.

At HLH you have newer rooms no charge for bringing girls to your room if you are a CRT member.
Also at HLH you are operating in "The DOLPHIN tank" no need to be wary and watch your back. The prices are fixed and a little upsell does no harm to you since the girls generally tend to give you your moneys worth.

Have you been down before? The reason I ask is that I always tell my buddies to do the Del Rey at least once. They will probably do something different on the next trip but I fondly remember staying there when I first lived here.

Never stayed at Little Havana, except for MP sessions when it was Zona Blue, so I cannot comment on the quality of rooms. I stayed at Hotel Del Rey on my first trip, and never stayed there again. The rooms are mediocre at best, and overpriced, IMO. The convenience of taking the elevator down to the Blue Marlin bar is nice, but the $10 per chica fee sucks.

If I had to choose between HDR and LH, I would probably choose the latter.

i never stayed at DR but i know people who stayed there declaring shitty,staines etc. i stated at LA,SL,HLH. i love all their rooms on top of it, i love the $35 per hr sessions with no bullshit at HLH and the walk from HLH to KL/DR is a breeze any time of the day or night. if u wanna dupla with 2 girls, u can not beat $70 for 2 gurls at HLH

Thx a lot for your prompt and detailed responses. This would be my first trip to spanish speaking country and i am not a fan of 3rd world coutries in general, having been born in one. The main reason i have HDR on top of the list is becuase i would prefer to go out too many times.

HLH seems like a much better option really but since i will need to sample hdr talent, i was wpndering what would it cost me to monger at HDR for one hour by renting a room on premises?

Thanks a lot. It does seem that HLH is nobrainer. Why pay more for less.
I will check with HLH if there is any other way to avoid the guest fee other than the crt card. Many thanks again for your helpful posts.

If this is your first trip to San Jose and you are not on a tight budget then go to the HDR which is where you will have everything under one roof. Girls 24 hours, food 24 hours and full on energy. Stay on the 5th floor in a king room for a little privacy and quiet. If you have been to the gulch before then the HLH is all you will need. You never have to leave the place and can arrange after hours entertainment with one of their girls as well.

You for sure must sample the talent at HDR. Just bring them back to HLH to your nice room. It's only 3 minutes away and maybe $2 to get back. Have fun!!!
