I experienced a different type motel for sex the other night.

I was at a favorite gulch watering hole on Tuesday night and feel into a freebie phuck with a waitress. I wasn't staying overnight so I had no place to take her. She thought for few minutes and said she had the solution. A friend of hers picked us up, we drive to the San Francisco area and voila we are at sex hotel. She drives down the side road and all i see are closed garage doors. Finally we see an open one and we pull in and get out. The driver friend backs out, the garage door closes and my companion pushes the buzzer to the door. Boom, the door opens automatically.

Once inside, it is very plush. King size bed, in room jacuzzi, upscale bano, flat screen TV already on with music playing, full service menu on the desk. Everything you need for a nice session.

Shortly after entering, there is a knock on a very small wooden window type door. It opened slightly and I was told to pay 20,000c. What a deal!! I assume it was for all night although we were there for a few hours. But totally discreet, you never see anyone and they never see you (i think!!)

I know you old timers have seen these. I have actually driven by one in Alajuela although it looked seedy.But this a great new experience for me and maybe it can be for you.

I couldn't see the full name but it had "suite" in it. A Tico friend said there were 3 such places in the area.

Anyone else been in one of these places?

Yup, that's what a "motel" is in CR and I think much of Latin America as well, and they all work that way. Motel Eden is the most well-known one on CRT, and one time when Eden was full I ended up at Motel Las Arcadas. Now you've given details on a third option.

It's set up this way so the cheating husbands have total discretion. It also helps the politicians preserve the idea of morality by not being seen with their mistresses.

All true reasons, although a big part of their business is from novias - very common for Costa Ricans to live home with their parents until married (there is no 20 something singles scene living downtown in San Jose ) - so they need/want a place on ocasion when they can be "alone"

It does not get a lot of ink on the board b/c most guys don't need these places, but yes, I was aware of their existance and think its interesting to discuss a part of the culuture that some are unaware

I was in one of these a few years back with a...HDR bartender. It was a pretty nice place. Sounds exactly as Seabreeze described it.

Yea I think I was at the same one. You can only enter from one side of the "highway" go down a little hill and then you see the garage doors. I went in a cab with a tica and a Columbiana. The one girl hid her head as we drove in saying they would charge more for 2 girls. Whatever, cab left we go into the room and it was very nice. Steam room jacuzzi nice bed TV and marble sex seats! This place was awesome... And we phucking trashed the place! Lmfao we were drinking, smoking creepy and doing blow having insane sex! We overflowed the hot tub, smashed glass on the floor, left drug remnants everywhere... After a few hours we decided to leave as we were walking out a car pulled into the same room we had just left... Lmfao. They were in for a surprise... Oops sorry
