Just listed at Deltajobs.net many positions all over the country for ramp / baggage handler or ticket agent and many more positions both part time ( called ready reserve ) as well as full time positions. The kicker here is Delta flying benefit. Go to Costa Rica for $ 23.00 or Paris $ 86.00 all around the states free unlimited. I retired from flying and came back to help with the customer service department in Atlanta. I noticed today that many positions are now up for grabs. 1 hint even though you see the job is in your area answer the question would you be willing to move with yes. If you say no to that question thats it for your ap. Get a part time job with flexability and great perks. Just a heads up for my friends here at CRT. Act now they go fast. Uncle H.

Great tip, Unc. Delta has two flights a day from Atlanta to SJO. Think of the money you'd save for mongering!

Yes, but what do those jobs in Atlanta pay? If I were in my 20s, I would not mind paying half my salary for a small studio apartment in Atlanta and flying out to great mongering destinations for a week every month, but there is no future in it.

Being in the industry you know there's a lot of Caveats to flying as an employee.
You have to be flexible with your time, revenue passengers get on first, any seats left over go to any dead heading crew members, then employees depending upon two criteria, the level of the pass, and when you put your name on the non-rev list.
Additionally, a lot of months of the year, forgettabout it you ain't getten a seat.
Been there done that, got stuck.
