Anyone else hear it? It was during Game 3 of the World Series on the English-language feed of ESPN Deportes on Saturday.

As is their custom, they were giving shout-outs during the game to people in foreign countries who had written in to say they're watching on ESPN. I didn't catch the name, but someone emailed from Sportsmen's and the ESPN announcer sent his regards. It was kind of funny to hear an old haunt get mentioned like that.

We did hear it hoping that the ESPN crew would pick our email. It was quite a thrill to hear Gary Thorn mention us and Rick Suttcliff complain about not being here in Costa Rica. We wrote two emails one for game #1 which is the one we heard live when Albert Puljos was batting in the 7th inning. We wrote another on Saturday, however I was working and did not hear that one.

It was quite a thrill. I have had at least 15 or so customers tell me they heard the Game #1 shout out.
