Went to the bank today and 700 dollars in charges from HDR just go through my bank. The charges are from 1/31/11. Wells Fargo put money bank on account since they only have 6 monthes to run through. As i was looking at my statements i found out they were trying to charge me twice. Has this happend to anyone else?

I didn't have any problems with the Del Rey's billing. They put a $120 hold on my debit card and released it when I settled my bill. Did you contact the HDR about the problem?

I had a reservation with them for my first trip(I know, I know), but had to cancel due to problems with my passport. They billed me for $120.00. I emailed them asking why and they claimed that I had not been billed. This went back and forth for about a week, at which time I got my bank involved and they took care of it for me. This was about two years ago, and needless to say I haven't had anything to do since then.

I was double billed 600 about 4 years ago. I checked in and they put the hold on my credit card. I paid cash and got a receipt when I checked out. They billed my credit card the 600 also. I called they gave me the "we will get back to you" routine. After a few weeks I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. The HDR went as far as send the signed deposit slip to the cc company but I sent the cash receipt and the cc ruled in my favor and refunded the money to my card.

In November '04 they double billed my credit card to the tune of $2460.00 (stayed there 5 weeks)! When you check in they swipe the card and when I checked out they claimed they couldn't find it and I had no choice (did not want to miss my flight) but to let them do it again. They fought it the pricks but the cr. card (MC) ruled in my favor. They are crooked bastards but what a joint huh?
