TACA is listing fares from Miami to SJO for $90, with taxes and fees it's about $150 all-in, with 28 day advance purchase until August 2012.

However, the couple of itineraries I priced out (including availability for Halloween weekend) totaled at $172.50 all-in, you may have better luck, if not, its still a decent fare.

Its a great fare on a great airline - we took the flight for years until the pricing got stupid high (like $600+ r/t).

If the flights are the same time, Taca gets you in real early - however the return flight gets you in real late and by the time you mess around w/ immigration; customs, and waiting for a bag (if you check luggage) its a long day - wish they had a return flight mid or early PM, and I'll check for a trip in Jan.
