I was just going through a few pics from my trip last February and found a few pics from Clarita's including a few shots of the room, the beach, and the bar. No chicas sin ropas so I didn't figure it warranted a post in the trip reports. I had one of the A/C rooms which I think are all on the second floor. The rooms all have a fan as well. Even as hot as it was in Jaco, the chicas didn't like the A/C much, but I sure did. Not sure if all the rooms are doubles or if I just happened to get one.

They aren't a CRT sponsor, so no discount, but no chica fees and they seem to have pretty decent security. The bar is the best part of the place and has plenty of gringos to hang out with though I didn't see many unattached chicas during my stay.

Thanks very much for posting - been to Jaco many times; never stayed there. Anyone who goes to Jaco and gets a non A/C room needs to have his head examaned

The rooms look very small; could be the camera angle - would you call them small?

We stay at Canciones del Mar - have stayed numerous times at Copacabana (sucks IMO) - in relation to the BB, where exactly is Claritas :)

Yeah the rooms are small. The layout is odd so there's wasted space.

I was only in the room for chicas and sleeping so it didn't bother me any. I know I spent more time at the bar than my room.

Claritas is at the end of the strip passed the pizza hut and Jaco taco. It's also right by Breezes which is supposed to have girls available late nights but it wasn't open much when I was there. It had just opened.

The rooms are tiny and dated. The beds are probably the originals.

I can handle Jaco without a/c if I have a fan. After living here for 5 weeks, and most of my life in Texas, I'm used to hot weather and I can live with it. Just need a fan to keep the air circulating and I can take it up to 90+ degrees. But the real problem with no a/c in Jaco is when you get a chica back to the room.

After a long involved session with a chica, it get's rather sweaty. So I just throw so towels on the bed so I don't end up sweating out the bed.

I know what you mean about heat; lived in Miami for 32 years - still, I'd spend the extra for A/C  :P  (and based on what you just posted, no way would I do w/out it  With my luck, I'd get your room and bed if i stayed there   :P :) )

Thanks guys for the clarification re rooms and location - its not ideal, but I'll stick w/ Canciones del Mar :)

I'm just trying to toughen up so my tico friends stop calling me a pu*sy

The next step would be giving up hot water, but I'm a long way from that :|

I was in jail for 30 days once in a cell bigger than pic#2. But I could at least see the TV from the bed.

pic #2 is off the second bed in a room and 1/3 of floor space.
rooms are plenty big enough and nice and clean.

Correct and agreed. I spent zero time in the room during the day and only sleeping and screwing at night. It was more than enough room for any one person and their entertainment.
