Just got back from one of my best trips ever.Stayed at the Dunn Inn.Guy and Scott are teaming up to make the Dunn Inn one of the best Places in town.I just met Guy for the first time, but I know Scotty from when he worked at Hotel M. Together with a staff of bilingual workers from the front desk to the bartenders and everybody else to make it a place I will always go back to.The food was Great.The rooms were clean,the showers were hot.Everybody was nice. Got picked up on Aug. 4 and did not want to leave on Aug 11.I HIGHLY recommend The Dunn Inn to any one who wants to stay at a safe,affordable,clean and friendly hotel.Also I would like to thank Boyd from HLH.It's about 1.5 blocks from The Dunn Inn.My First Time there i hooked up with a girl named Sammy.If you ever get the chance ask for her.You will not be disappointed.They have a really nice bar,met boyd ,he showed me one of the newly remodeled rooms with a king size bed.Looks great. Once again I would Like to thank Guy and Scott for making this last trip so good.

Thanks for the report and reminding us what a great place the Dunn Inn is. I think the hotel has a great staff and I have had some wonderful times there. A lot of people still hold a death grudge against the Hotel because of one very bad decision. I think its time to let bygones be bygones.

There will be no forgiveness to Dunn Inn Owners until someone else owns it. Just the way it is.

My grudge is more because they destroyed my bag left in storage and stole all the contents.

I second, third and fourth all negative Dunn Inn comments. I hold a grudge, and its my choice. I also voice my opinion and have no problem sharing that either.

Is it just me or are a few of the posts in this thread getting close to violation of what Admin had noted and warned about adherence to the rules of this membership recently?

I suggest to anyone that wants to advertise the merits of the Dunn Inn not to do it. The Dunn Inn made its choice. They could care less about the CRT members. Positive posts will only be met with negative ones that are true.

I stayed at the DI last year and checked out early.

They lied about ongoing renovations. It was noisy, dusty, and full of toxic fumes from various paints, sealers, primers etc. being used.

I understand the renovations are complete.

However they flat lied about renovations and construction being completed when I booked the room.

I specifically asked if the construction was completed.

The 1st room they gave me upstairs was completely unacceptable. So they moved me downstairs to be away from the remodeling.
After they started demolition on a hallway just outside the second room I quickly informed I would be checking out.

I would never ever believe a word they utter after this incident.

Yes I know how to tell when Ticos/Ticas are lying. Their lips are moving. Not a joke just a fact of CR culture.
