M. J. Peter runs the most successful strip clubs in the world with very HOT girls.

I used to frequent his Pure Platinum club in Ft. Lauderdale several years ago.

The Platinum girls were the hottest strippers in Florida.

He treated his girls incredibly good. He's know to send his girls on all expense paid vacations rewarding top performers.

He used to even send them on his private yacht for R & R. Nice way to write off your yacht.

He's known for very high quality clubs and I'm sure he will do it right again in CR.

It definitely won't be cheap!

I just learned this morning that the White House has been renamed "Grand Tara". As previously posted the new owners are the same owners that own the Beacon Hotel in Escazu centro.

That would seem to rule out it becoming the location of Solid Gold San Jose.

"Word on the street" is that Greengo has signed on as concierge and will be advising guests of the the freindly and benevolent attitude Ticos have towards gringos, the safety of San Jose as well as the high food hygiene standards practiced in restaurant, the first class medical care available at the local CAJA facilities as well as the safety of the pharmaceuticals dispensed at those clinics and hospitals and the other virtues of paradise. There is some concern among management if the tourist will be able to decipher some of the "Greengo speak" that he will sprinkle in his presentations. :lol:

I've always assumed that there were some secret spots like this that aren't highly publicized. I gotta think that there are some with serious money that come to SJ that don't wanna dirt bag it, but high roll like they are used to all over the world.

White house doesn't seem big enough for all they plan. Where else though could they pull it off and open that quick. At one point Hotel M bought and gutted the building next door with a simular theme in mind I guess nothing will come of that.

Yes, San Jose is perfect for catering to high rollers. Those with that kind of cash to burn are already having that kind of fun, but on the down low. They are not at the HDR. They have their people arrange for true 10's to come to their private places and they pay accordingly.

I have the $ for this kind of experience, but I don't like wasting my money. Much rather hunt down the perfect girl for me and take her back to my place or a hotel I'm staying at.

Michael Peters has the $$ to lose, if he depends on high rollers from the US he's definitely going to go under. Bring in eastern euro talent may run him afoul of the CR gov. unless he makes the "right connections". The very few guys I know who are wealthy, look at CR as being 4 or 5 on their list. Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Poland and the Ukraine depending upon the person, ranks them above CR. CR is the poor mans paradise almost an after thought. Just my dos colones, Flaco

I'm still "out" on this concept, but not about Michael Peters - very knowledgable, sharp operator, sucessful in an incredibly difficult (I was going to say hard ) industry - and while I live in S. FL, I absolutely do not visit Strip Clubs there (In CR, of course ) b/c they suck, especially vs CR. Like the song "The House of the Rising Sun", Costa Rica has been the ruin of many a rich boy who learned the hard way the way, to make a million in CR, start w/ 2 million (Don't believe me - ask the guy who opened the bar in the old NY Bar location, or the current and past few owners of the White House/Tara/Bachelor Mansion). Its not a concept that frankly appeals to me as a customer for lots of reasons, but there is probably a market - just how big and how consistant is the big question.

He is a piece of work - I vacilate between being facinated by his posts, and wanting to say "For christs sake, don't make me get out my decoder ring" Good Info; thanks ID - Tara (I'll always call it that) is one of those places you would think would be sucessful - but that has not proven to be the case - distance from the gulch (for years, starting in the mid 90's, we stayed in the area, at Pico Blanco, but its just too "geographicaly undesirable), pricing, lack of stuff to do, a poor economy limiting potential guests? I don't know, but you would think there would be a market for what they are offering - but that has really not proven to be the case.
