I have been spending quite a bit of time in San Jose and it does not make sense to spend as much as I do in Hotels. I am looking for a furnished 1-bedroom studio furnished with at least a full bed, Wi-fi, all utilities, and Air Conditioning for $400 - $550 a month. I am interested in being close to downtown, maybe Barrio Amon or even San Pedro or Guadalupe. The problem I am running into is that I am having problems finding apartments with A/C. For me the humidity would make it a little unconfortable without A/C. especially if I have somebody staying over for the night.

Vista Linda Apts in Calle Blanco is a good options. They have some nice new apts for around 500$ including all utilities, wifi, etc.. usually very quiet also and girl friendly. Close enough to downtown 10 min or so by taxi. Close bus stop also. No lease or dep either.

I like it cold also but you really do not need AC. It sits a little higher than SJ so it is a little cooler. What I do is use a fan when I get warm although the girl always complains that I will get sick, its muy frio etc...

Search for Vista Linda on the internet for the phone number. And the newer apts are nice and you will be comfy with a good fan.

Mr. Doctor . :)

When I was in the 7th grade I wished my parents had named me, 'Mister' so all my teachers would have to call me, "Mr."

Then again, I had straight F's the first time I did the 7th grade. I was so proud ! I almost had 4 F's and one D but somehow I accomplished F,F,F,F,F.

There was a law that I had to be there but they couldn't force me to do their boring crap. I would sit there and draw new designs of vehicles and read interesting stuff I found in the library.

Needless to say, most of my teachers hated me but a few were pretty cool and just left me alone.
