Not only is HLH an entertaining, clean, and safe place to stay, but after the email I just received it is at the top of my list due to customer service from it's management team!

I just returned for a 2 night stay at HLH and opening my email I receive a note telling me that I was overcharged by $21 and on my next visit I would have a credit.

Not only did they offer the credit for this mistake but management found the mistake after I had left and pointed it out to me. Because I had paid in cash they emailed me, apologized, and offered a credit on my next visit. I had no idea that a mistake had been made and never asked anyone to research my folio.

Thank you again Boyd for everything you and your team do!

I stopped by the HLH a couple times during my last visit...didn't stay there.....and the chicas didn't "overcharge". Had a great session with a wonderful Nica.....for the life of me I can't remember her name....I just called her "Farah". Huge phucking nipples.

We brought this upon ourselves last 10 years. Not being critical, everyone can spend their money as he sees fit as discussed on ad nauseum on this board. We are generous. But this is a problem that everybody has to deal with on top of the crazy cien issue. OK, I'll pay you X for YZ, but if you do YZ, then I have to pay you more?

I was asked for a propina and I said I give propinas for good service. She also tried to up sell me. I told her in no uncertain terms.....we discussed everything at the bar, including price. I received good service and I tipped five dollars. She objected and told me I should provide a larger propina. I told her I would ask Boyd what he thought was a fair propina. She said...."NO NO NO and put her hands to her throat". End of discussion.

What is happening at the Dunn Inn? Is it living up to its potential? Or has it fallen flat?

I agree....for those who are new or don't have "game"......it can be brutal. Getting more like Tijuana every trip. My advice. Find a nice chica.....get a phone number....establish ground rules....never overpay or listen to RFM's.....my baby is sick...my mother needs surgery....my cat's in heat....etc...etc... As soon as she breaks a rule, and she will break a rule....let her know she "screwed up"....she will say....oh mi amor....lo siento...lo siento...tengo muchas problemas.....tu no entiende.....blah blah blah....

It's all bullshit..... you just have to learn to manage the bullshit.

I'm at the point where I can swing a freebie now and then. In the end nothing is really free...but....

Oh....want to add my new line when I want the chicas to leave me alone in the DR or SL...or wherever...

BBBJ? Si mi amor.... Sexo con condon? Si mi amor...... Sexo en culo sin condon????????? Bang she's gone.

A bit off topic....but how far is HLH for the SL? Is it an easy safe walk?

Yes, an easy safe walk, Just a five blocks, all downhill, from the SL (different story going the other way if you can't handle the uphill climb :D ). Take a right when leaving the SL, take another right (or cross Ave 9 then take a right), walk for five blocks. I've always walked to and from ZB/HLH in the daytime and most of the times in the evening hours (to 9:00 pm sometimes) as well with zero problems over the dozens of time I did it. I however walk at a 4-mph pace and can power up the hill with zero effort. :D

coming back can be arduous due to lack of energy and wealth of drink  but if you accidentally pass by it like i did the first time i went you will find yourself in a seedy area pretty quick. check the map.

I found that it is easier to head to HDR/BM, or Centro after leaving HLH. Seems like the walk, while still uphilll, is somewhat flatter. Then from HDR/BM back to SL is almost completely flat. I, being the fatass that I am (working on it), usually have to take the walk back up the hill in stages if I go directly back to SL.

The walk back by the route you describe is much like taking switch-backs on a mountain trail. You are still going up quite a grade; you are taking “the walk back up the hill in stages,” just somewhat elongated.
