Howdy..On my five night trip in September, the SL has 4 of those days available, the first day and then the three at the end..2 questions... 1. I've not stayed there. This is my second trip, so I'd like to try it. Is it worth it in your opinion, to still stay the 4 days there even if it means staying at another hotel the second night? 2. If so, of the Standard Regular, Large, or Deluxe...is there enough of a difference in the rooms (particularly the $67and $78 rooms to make one choice make more sense than the other). These rates are after taxes but before CRT discounts, I believe...the Deluxe Room is $100 with tax but before CRT discount (probably a little more than I want to spend). Thanks, guys!! I did RTFF, but didn't specifically see these questions addressed in a more direct way. ![]() |

You just might get lucky. SL is fine accommodations, and definitely worth a try. ![]() |

I agree with BD. Take what you can get and not only ask for stand by but when you get there remind the front desk if anything comes available you will take it. Moving from one hotel to another for one day is not really that big of a deal. I've done it and it was painless. |

Take the available room and request any cancellation for the extra night. Odds are that you will be accommodated. You can reserve a room at a different establishment as a back-up (HLH?), just make sure you cancel when SL has an opening. |

Another option....stay at HLH or LA the first 2 nights and SL the final 3. For me, no way I would bounce back and forth THAT much. Plus you get a better gauge on the other hotel with 2 full days. Stand-by at SL is a good idea for all 5, but like Pac mentioned beware of the cancellation policies. |
