Hi, I'm arriving for my third trip on Independence Day, staying till Friday, July 8. Any suggestions for a place to stay? I prefer someplace that is not too noisy and chica friendly, with a nice bar and atmosphere, but close to the action and night life scene.

Background: First trip I stayed at Del Rey. That was an experience, but won't stay there again. 2nd trip at Dunn Inn, for Superbowl. Had a great time there. Very cool place but I've read it's changed. I am considering staying there again because my 2nd trip worked out well.

I've looked at the HLH and seems like it may fit the bill. What are advantages of say HLH over Dunn Inn, or other places?

Tourism is somewhat down so you should be fine, but in the past anytime there is a 3-day holiday weekend in the States the more popular hotels tend to book up in advance. Since you are a VIP member I'd start with the CRT VIP discount list and start calling the hotels on there and see if they have rooms available.

My favorite advantage of the HLH over Dunn Inn is that most of the newer rooms at HLH don't have windows so I can sleep in and not have my room lit up around 5:30 am. This also helps with all noise from the street due to the car horns and alarms.

Have to second the sponsor list... Sportsmen's is always a great choice and HLH is another. I like the rooms at HLH and what Boyd has brought to the place. Obviously, biggest advantage at HLH over Done is the discount on the great girls
