What do you guys think, and why?

I was planning on staying at the Sportmens Lodge, but have read decent things about Hotel Little Havana as well.

I'm a solo-flying first timer, so I was also wondering which of the two I'll have better luck at finding some wingmen.

100% staying at the sportmens will you find a wingman that (my guess) will be more like you .....for someone staying at the HLH they have been to san jose more than a few times (or maybe a newbe here on crt that have looked at some post with BK now being there ) but what I am getting at ,,,the sportmens just makes the chances of you finding a wing better .....

My advice would be, say hello to most everyone in the sportmens ...tell them you are a crt member and your crt name (most will say they remember seeing your name ...true or not ) it starts step 1 in finding a wing ....next step ... ...if you run into them again at the DR or KL just start shooting the shit again ....if you are planning on going to a club or a mp offer for them to come .....

Just being a nice guy will get you at least a few wings .....before your trip ..post a roll call for your dates ...and try to run into the members who post back ....share stories of good and bad pu*sy adventures and you will fit right in.

One other item....the side of BK that must be shared ...he will treat you like a long time friend after the first time you meet him and he will hook you up with other members and during your trip, you will run into him at the sportmens, HLH and maybe at the DR (but dont really see him there often)

Ah, thanks for the reply.

Is it essential to have a wing man though? Of course it will be nice, but given th unfortunate circumstance that I find myself without one how much will it affect my business with the ladies?

You really don't need a wingman if you are street savvy. The comraderie with the guys at the SL and HDR is very cool. Always someone to help out.

Remember, the girls can smell a newbie right away. They'll eat you right up as far as overpaying. If they ask if it's your first time down here say no. "I've been here 5 times" They seem to wise up quickly when you tell them this as far as price.

TLN's can run from $50 to $200. $150 is tops for me. $150 for SL girls. 1 hour at SL $60. and ALWAYS negotiate beforehand what you expect from them in the bed. bbbj important to me when I negotiate.

Without a doubt the SL is THE place to stay.

While it is not an absolute necessity, it sure is nice to have a wingman around. I fly solo all the time, BUT I always grab some intel from around the SL bar.

Plus it is just plain fun to have a wingman at the DR. Playing the chicas off a wingman or 3 is pure entertainment to me, YMWV. Especially when the hardcore turn and burn girls come around.

As for SL vs. HLH, it is certainly a lot closer now with Boyd more in control at HLH. I would still say SL is the place to stay for first timers, simply for the atmosphere and the ability to find a wingman at anytime. But if SL is full, do not hesitate to pull the trigger on HLH.

Cool, thanks guy. I plan on staying at the SL. If my understanding is correct, HLH is fairly close anyways if I want to check it out.

Another question for you guys, is it common practice to send CC info over the internet when trying to book a hotel? I sent an email to the SL and they asked me to send CC info to hold my reservation.

Seems legit but I figured I'd ask first unless there is something you guys do instead.

cujo, ive heard that CC fear before and never have had a problem. HLH and SL both decent & now honest, reliable people.

now, on the wingman thing, ive always enjoyed talking with CRT guys giving and taking advise and help from them. i have bumped into a few people dedicated to messing with other people's minds and pissing on the parade, but for the most part CRT guys are kind and helpful pervs.

ive not stayed at HLH or SL but my previous location needs an update and im looking forward to giving HLH a try.

Hey guys, I have another question.

As it turns out, I have some close friends of the family who live in San Jose. As a result, I will have to visit them for half a day or so. They were giving me recommendations on places to stay and told me to watch out for a few places as they are hotels where men go to pick up hookers (I was happy this conversation happened over the phone as it was very hard for me to not burst out laughing!).

Anyways, does the SL have this reputation among the locals?

I stay at HLH and visited the SL. The crew and girls at HLH WERE AMAZING. I had a blast and I can't complain about the girls there either. I will definitely stay there during my future stays. Just my 2 cents.

Everyone I know in San Jose knows the HDR and the reputation is the same as your and my view of the HDR.

The SL doesn’t have the reputation that the HDR has. That is due in large part to the fact that the SL and HDR are essentially different in both their methods of operation and the clientele. A lot of locals go to the SL. My guess is they are 30 to 40 “somthings.” Those who know it, know that friends can be found there. My nephew loves it when we get together there for lunch.

Ahh. I am a bit concerned as the people will pick me up from there and we will go for dinner or something. They know both my family and the people I work for, what a strange turn of events. Either way, thanks for the responses.

Then again, these same people recommended the Dunn inn, so perhaps they aren't to hip to the scene.

Just book the SL. Tell them you booked it online and made a mistake. And you cant cancel because it'll cost you. It'll make for a good laugh. Just don't tell them until you get there.

Or you could book the SL and wait in front of the Dunn Inn. lol. Amistad is family friendly I heard.
