Have mongered in many other Central/South America countries over the past few years and have always stayed at major hotels such as Wyndham, Radisson, etc... without any problems bringing in chicas, but I see everyone here goes to independent hotels. Being this is going to be our first time in CR we want to know what would be the nicest place to stay at, that is chica friendly. We like to have a suite and whatnot that is why we are asking about the bigger chain hotels. If there is equally nice places that may also have a pool please school us. Most of the hotels you talk about are close to the casinos/bars where you can get the girls?

All the big chain hotels 4/5star hotels in San Jose either flat out prohibit working girls or charge a chica fee.

That is one reason most stay at a chica friendly hotel.

The other is most of the action is not near the nicer Chain Hotels. For example from the Crowne Plaza cab ride to the HDR is 15 mins with no traffic and about $4-$5. During rush hour it will take 30mins and $7-$9.

Traffic in San Jose during rush hour is horrible!!!

So by the time you pay chica fees, taxi, and fight traffic it really makes no sense to try and stay at these nicer hotels.
