Has any one flown this route? My question is , There is 1 hour hour 17 minute, plane change at Barranquilla, is that enough time to clear Immigration and customs ? Any hints on the air port?

Asking because this route is 120 bucks cheaper then the direct flight, and only gets in 2 hours later

also does any one know what time at night the money exchanges close at the Medellin airport ? --- 20,000 pesos short of cab fare, dam should have bargained harder the night before, but it was my honey moon with my new wife of the evening.

It's not very big...one runway, a dozen gates and an international and domestic terminals. I never entered BAQ from an international destination there. My guess is that you will clear customs in BAQ, but will do so without baggage in your possession... similar to what Avianca does with international arrivals and domestic connections in Bogota.

I'm not sure if the cambio in MDE will be open late at night, but you can use any number of ATMs at BAQ or MDE.
