I just spent four days at the Copacabana in Jaco. I had am oceanfront suite, which was very nice; I'd certainly book it again.. Contrary to earlier reports, there were some chicas hanging around, but no large numbers. No matter; IMHO, the hotel's proximity to the Beatles Bar is a big advantage. Most of the chicas I picked up there were willing to walk back to the hotel. The sign at the reception desk now shows a "guest fee" of $25, but when I asked for the CRT rate, they quoted $15. Still too much. The only downside was their WI-FI. They claim it's available in the rooms, but that's not true. The only usable signal is in the restaurant and reception area.

Check out the Hotel Cocal or the Vista Mar condos they manage.

Once you stay at the Cocal or Vista Mar you will never ever even think about the Copacabana.

Jazz that link to the condos is a different place. I have not stayed at Hotel Club del Mar.


But I highly recommend Vista Mar Condos behind the Hotel Cocal.
Which I have stayed in 3 separate times.

Vista Mar condos are privately owned but Managed by the Hotel Cocal.

The cocal stays pretty booked. I was trying to get a place for a few nights next week and all they had was 2 or 3 bedrooms. It is a nice place and the condos are really nice.
