Post subject:  Best day/night to visit Jaco?

I still haven't picked a hotel yet. I'd like to be within walking distance of the Beetle Bar, but don't really want to pay much more than $100 if I don't have to. Maybe it's not a big deal being that close to it? But I might want to find a chica that night and maybe one the next afternoon before I go back to SJ?

Given, I will be staying in SJ for a week from Wed Feb 9 until morning of Wed. Feb 16, which night is best t stay on Jaco considering amount of chicas and ease of travel, etc, Maybe leave SJ in the morning on either Friday or Sat. and stay one of those nights? Since it's my first tome in CR, I suppose it wouldn't be smart to miss two weekend nights in SJ.

Thanks for the input!

Unless things have changed, there's really nothing to find in the afternoon. BB doesn't open till the evening. You should get numbers of chicas the night before to call them the next day.

You definitely want to go during the weekend. Friday and Saturday nights are the most fun in Jaco. Large selection of hoes in Beatle Bar, Le Loft and Monkey Bar.

The talent is definitely improving now that the season is here. Am checking out the BB this week for some friends coming down soon. Need to see the new faces. STill not much daytime. Bohio Bar doesn't get anything to speak of anymore.

There are a lot of Columbianas and Dominicanas in Jaco. They work the BB every night, and its usually a buyers' market. On Friday and Saturday nights the crowd swells with Ticas from San Jose and Punterenas, mostly semi-pros but a few HDR refugees looking for football players who didn't make the playoffs, and fisherman, but there are more buyers on the weekends, so they all want cien... until the crowd starts to thin out. Personally, I like Wednesday through Friday, although I once fell in love with a semi-pro and stayed until Sunday afternoon, which was, according to my wingman, too long.

I had a great time with a Columbiana named Suzanne in early December. After scattering the linens at the Copa we took a cab to the Backyard Bar at Playa Hermosa for their Wednesday night dance, which was great fun. Lots of North American and European surfers and trust funders, including some drop-dead gorgeous women. Probably 200+ people, and a long cab line well into the night, but no P4P. Suzanne had so much fun she gave me TLN, and the next day and night, for free.

Suzanne was going back to Columbia for Christmas, but said she planned to return, and I'd recommend her if you can find her. She's 30-something and has light brown hair... looks like an American MILF and speaks good English.

If you can't find her, she had a friend named Natalia who left my wingman weak in the knees and grinning from ear to ear.

If you don't want anything fancy... and something inexpensive... the hotel, Los 4 Grandes, is right next door to BB. I stayed there a few years abck for $30 / night.

Anyone have a link for this place? Also, is it a decent and comfortable place and chica friendly?

No website, just a webpage on a Jaco website: http://www.jacobeach.cr/costa+rica/hote ... c3331.html

The rooms are large and clean, have several beds, and the units have AC. No pool. Many of the girls who work BB tend to stay there. I'm not sure what the "official policy" is, because after 5 pm, the front desk staff goes home and there is no one there to enforce any policies. I had sessioned with at least 4 or 5 girls there... so I guess you would call it "de facto" chica friendliness.

So, where do you suggest? Claritas, Poseidon?

Claritas. Ask for room 19, it's a little bigger & closest to the pool
