Just stayed on 203 a few days ago. It is up the stairs right across from the reception desk. King size bed, good size shower, 2 person jacuzzi and a dry sauna. There are no outside windows, so it stays very dark in the mornings! In a total of 3 days, I think I heard the train a couple of times in the room.

I stayed at 106 (I think) before. It was a king size room with jacuzzi on the first floor just up the stairs and too the right at the end of the hall. It had no outside windows as well and i didn't like that actually. I like to get some fresh air. I'm going back next month and Carlos assured me the room he has reserved is one with an outside window. If I can take the people outside the HDR making noise all night, then I am sure I can live with the occasional train :)

210 & 211 are nice king rooms at great price. I really like 202, a big suite with a jacuzzi & three big windows.

Should be same price as 203, but much bigger & better laid out....be sure & ask Rudy or Matt for CRT & weekly discount.

210 & 211 are significantly less than 202 & 203. Same king bed, much smaller room.

Thanks EO, My first priority is it being a quiet room, need my 8 or 9 hrs. of beauty sleep. Is room 202 the same price?

Stayed in 202 in August. Really nice room with plenty of windows. Tv was at least 46" Huge 2 person jacuzzi and a large shower for 2. The room has a large feel to it. Electronic safe and I guess all romms have the great mattress. My first 2 nights were toda la noche with the chicas . I guess they liked the bed. Never could get the internet access to work but 2 computers just down the hall to the left. It faces the front of the hotel so you can see who is coming in. Matt said Rudy could set up your in room internet, but I never got around to it. Rudy chared me $139 before CRT discount. Though it should be 10 ro 20 less. Last night moved to 211 at $71 per night. This room is large enough, but I don't like the way it is layed out. Only 1 window which faces a wall. the bed is one end and the television is the other side. Wish they would put a love seat in this room. The free laundry service is awesome and the hotel extremely safe. And also only 1 block from the SL on a downhill walk. Room 203 was empty the whole time I was there righ across the hall.

201, 202 and 203 are the newer "penthouse" rooms (with the higher prices), but are really large suite-like rooms. 203 also is the smallest of the three, with no exterior windows as noted earlier (and I'd guess is the last to be booked). I've never stayed in one of them, but on one trip when I was at the Amistad, #202 was unoccupied one day and the door was left wide open when I happened to walk by, so I had a look inside. Real nice room indeed!

I think #210 is one of the two "studio apartment" rooms, they used to be rather spartan pre-remodel but were converted to nice mini-suites with jazuzzi; #106 is the other one I believe (that one I did stay in, though it was pre-remodel--the construction at the time hadn't yet reached that part of the first floor, though the two rooms across the hall were started on during my stay  )
