Only Ramada Inn I know of in CR is the Ramada Plaza Herradura which is located just off the airport auto pista near Belen not Tibas. Is an upscale property so it is doubtful they welcome "guests" but maybe they are an exception.

Have no experience with this property. A few comments though:

Ramada's are notoriously inconsistent with many being rat-holes.

The location is very good from a short-taxi-ride perspective.

The location is very poor from a walking-around perspective.

The location (imho) is pretty dicey from a safety perspective.

I would just say no. There are many other better, more proven options available. El Prex/SL/Amistad for <$100, Castillo/Freebird for much less.

What Ramada Inn are you talking about? The Ramada Plaza Herradura is NOT a short taxi ride and the location is very upscale and not known to be "dicey'.
