The airport in/out fare is going from $10 to $12.

If booked through Shuttlebus CR, it will go from $9.50 to $11.40. Still less than half what a taxi charges.

I now take the Tuasa bus to the airport for 450 colones. I left with one checked, and two carryon items. Placed the checked and one carryon underneath. It's a directo bus, no stops until the airport,, so it went fast.

A little hike from the stop to the Departure gate, but the exercise was great.

Had to take a taxi due to a three hour delay due to a guajo plane with a malfunctioning guidance system which needed a deep penetration into the instrument panel. Went past the Airport $25.00 taxi and paid $20 to a regular guy. A few bucks saved.

I used Interbus last night for the SJO to SL trip. Just past Customs I saw a guy holding a sign with my name on it ouside the glass. I walked outside, and he told me to wait while he met the 2 other folks he was waiting on.

Within 10 minutes we were all collected and in a van riding into the city. I thought it was a great value for the money, compared to a $20-25 taxi fare. I'm probably going to use them for my transfer back to the airport at the end of my stay.

I too am all in on Interbus...the same thing happened to me when I arrived with the driver holding a sign, and in a matter of a few I was at SL. When I left I had an early filght so Interbus was at SL at 530am waiting for me..
They make it painless and easy..
