Also be assured that you get full service at all MPs but you should always confirm that you will get what you want before you pay. Each girl has her dos and donts.
The service standards are not as uniform as in Thailand and so talk to the girl and confirm that you are getting what you want up front.
Also at HLH the girls all ask for a tip afterwards so decide how you are going to handle that.
Very true. The veterans are telling the new girls to demand propinas. They are even telling each other how much they got in propinas and it has become a contest with them. However, if they want to compete with Propina Queen Pamela, they gotta do what Pamela does....."You go to her a little boy....you leave her...as a man!" 
On the up side, the HLH is a place where you can calmly interview the chica, see if you have any chemistry, work out the details of your party, and do so for free or for the price of a drink. Don't be afraid to sit next to them on the couch.
Is $35 too much? Considering that the room prices have come down more than the $10 "extra guest fee," it is not really changed from when the price was $25 an hour.
Maybe it is too little. Some of us - "and ju know who ju are, dahlings" - have had crazy weasel, "girlfriend just got out of prison," screen door in a hurricane, squirrels on crack, hairline fracture in the pelvis bone, enough footage for three porn videos, CPR inducing sessions with some of the ZB/HLH girls. Some of the girls - are you listening Chantal? - bring all the enthusiasm of the DMV worker handing you your renewed driver's license or the lunch lady serving the mac & cheese at the school cafeteria.
At times, I have gone to the Del Rey and realized that none of those mercenaries are worth four or even three times what I paid for a great HLH session that afternoon.
I've been at the HLH a few times, so I know which ones will give me a good experience, and they know enough to know not to ask for a tip. However, I do give them gift boxes/bags with swag they can't get locally. If they want to sell the swag to their friends, they can. But it is stuff that their deadbeat baby's daddy or their terminally unemployed boyfriend has never thought of giving them, and sometimes they just want to feel special and pampered.
