| Post subject: | CHICA FRIENDLY HOTELS ON THE BEACH? |
The Copacabana is $200 a night and up for January. Seems a bit steep for CR. I just want to veg out on a lounge with my honey. I'm thinking about Jaco, but a mile or 2 north or south is OK too. The Poseidon is off the beach and no good pics on the web to figure out what it looks like. Any suggestions? |

Clarita's Beach Hotel. But I must say I did like the Poseidon. |

This may be stating the obvious but the US economy is so in-the-toilet still and the CR tourist economy so dependent on it, that there may well be hotel/restaurant deals offered as the High Season goes on. I believe we have at least as great bargaining power as we've had the last 2 years. |
