I think I probably know the answer to this but....:

Today I received an e-mail from Hotel M indicating that ALL rooms are now $99.00. Seems like a nice hotel from the pictures but never been there and seems like it's a bit removed from the "entertainment". Am I correct in assuming that unless I take company back to the hotel with me that I will probably be bored to death? Probably nothing like the SL as far as girls looking for fun? Do I have that right? Thx.

Yes, it's not like the SL at all, it's really more of a private club. At night I think they regularly host parties and strip shows (there's a stage with pole), some girls are invited in but they want $150 and up...later they go back to the HDR where they can be had for $100 or less.

Michelle goes out of her way to be a great hostess but from that point the service is only so so. It is NOT in my opinion a luxury hotel in any way shape or form. La Amistad is still my top choice and the others in the area better locations.

I have only been to the Hotel M once, for a New year's party. The hotel seemed upscale, for CR standards, and for those looking for something in a room that is nice, it is probably worth the extra money. It is probably not much more than the new wing at the SL.

It was interesting that the ladies at the bar would not give me change for tips for the girls dancing. They said they did not have any, with a definite attitude. The girls that would talk to me (not even half of them), were quoting outrageous prices. It wasn't because it was a sausage fest, but more of an attitude of I am a Hotel M girl, IMHO. I saw several the next night at the SL (regulars) and their quotes were considerably less, and you would have thought I was Brad Pitt, even those who snubbed me at the M, were hitting on me at the SL.

Several members love to stay there. While the room cost is some higher, it is more upscale than most, it is probably worth it. Whether you decide to pay more for the ladies is completely a subjective item also. Cabs can be a problem on holiday nights. IMO, if you choose to stay there you either pay a higher rate, for what some are of higher quality (in looks), or import them from other venues.

It was the "I am superior, you should pay more" attitude of the ladies at the M, both the regular M girls, and the imports for the night from the SL and other venues, that really turned me off.
