Intercontinental Hotel Group which has five hotels in San Jose (Intercontinental Real, Crowne Plaza Coribici, Holiday Inn Aurola, Holiday Inn Express by the Airport and the Indigo Forum) is running a "Priority Club" point contest for the next 7 weeks. You can still get in on week two and get 2,000 points, and a total of 14,000 points by the end of the promotion. 5,000 points is enough for a free night at a hotel participating in the "Point Break Hotel" promotion. Most of the above hotels have been a "point break" hotel at some time in the past including the Intercontinental. If you are not a member of Priority Club you can join for free today and then enter the contest. This weeks probable answer by consensus of the knowledgeable people on a flyertalk forum is: CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK, NEPAL https://challenge.priorityclub.com/ 2,000 points if you get it correct today, less points tomorrow Good Luck! |

Last week's guess was correct, an easy 2,000 points for those who played. There is still time to get in on the free points, there is still 6 weeks for a total of 12,000 points possible left in this contest. Today is day one of this week's contest, no clear consensus on the answer yet the current favorite guess on flyertalk is: Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska, USA You can make a new guess each day of the contest. So check back tomorrow after they post a new clue. |

Some folks on FT think the answer is: Kenai River, Alaska, USA You can choose a different answer every day (and there is a new clue every day). Both answers could be right, they may just be looking for the word "Kenai". |

Last week's official answer: Kenai River, Alaska Today is day one of week four (5 weeks of contest left) Clue 1: The site of several reality TV shows No clear consensus on a guess yet. Hacking the code gives a clue that it could be in japan. Some folks are guessing Okinawa, Japan. Others are getting more specific. Some think Palau or another "Survivor" destination. Good Luck! |

Last week's official answer: Sabah, Malaysia Today is the beginning of week 5, still 8,000 points available for very little effort. The first clue is: active both day and night. So far the consensus is that it's a volcano ironically enough in Costa Rica. Probably Arenal or Turrialba. |

The Crowne Plaza Corobici has just been listed as a "Point Break" hotel, it's available for bookings until the end of the year. See: http://costaricaticas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=35474 |

The next clue is: See two oceans from the summit. I remember my tour guide saying that when I was at the Irazu Volcano and the leaves in the foreground are the same type as there. |

Senordos wrote: ...The current consensus on this weeks answer is: Kauai, Hawaii, USA That was indeed the correct answer. 2 weeks, left. Today is day one of week 7 and the first clue is: Quote: Borders more than one country. Some of the smart folks at Flyertalk think they've got the correct answer on day one. Lake Titicaca, Peru The contest doesn't seem to penalize wordy answers, and wants you to be specific so perhaps: Lake Titicaca, Puno, Peru, South America |
