Post subject:  driving to puerto jimenez

I was told they have/are building a road from Manuel Antonio to the Osa Pennisula. Any truth to that? With the new road to Jaco, one should be able to drive from sjo to M.A in a couple of hrs. or so and then on down the coast to Puerto Jimenez in another 2 hrs. or so. The old way took hrs. and hrs. over treacherous roads and river beds. Anybody know anything about this?
