Just booked my second trip on jet blue, and this time got a reasonable price: I'm going around Columbus Day and got $291 roundtrip from Orlando. Let's see, with my VIP at the SL, this will be an affordable time. I live in Tampa, just drive up the road to get my flight. So glad Jet Blue came to town! Bat out. 8)

Well, yeah, except for that hard landing injuring 15 passengers thing. Coulda happened to anybody.

You fly, you takes your chances. Other than the melt down they had in that New York snowstorm, and this hard landing in CA, I have not seen too many bad stories about jet blue. Let's face it: flying today sucks. The lines, the security, the crowded jets. It used to be that flying was a blast, now it's mainly a hassle. Sure if we could beam over to SJ like in Star Trek, it would be preferable. Until then, it's jet blue to paradise for me. Bat out. 8)

JetBlue is great for us living in Florida no Miami and less than 3 hours. I have fflown on it 15 times to sJO and it has always been on time if not early. It beats the hell out of AA amd Spirt and never had a hard landing.

I agree with that. I take the flight from orlando to San Jose and orlando to New york regularly and have always had great experiences. I will never fly spirit again ( the worst US airline) and American sucks too. Jet blue is the best US airline in my experiences.

Totally agree on both counts.

It may not be the very best, but it's a good one. All that growth didn't result from bad service and incompetence, that's for sure. As far as the recent hard landing goes, every airline has one of those occasionally. Usually the weather causes it, anyway.

If anyone has a Tuesday or Wednesday flight date booked from Orlando to San Jose on JetBlue in the future look carefully at any schedule change emails. I had just glanced at mine expecting the normal "your departure time has moved by 3 minutes", but they actually moved my departure date back a whole day. When I called on the phone they tried to say it was only moved by 3 minutes and when I said no it was moved a whole day, she did a little research and determined they have gone to their winter schedule and are not flying MCO-SJO on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

What dates were you flying? I just checked on their website for early to mid-November, and they do have flights to SJO on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

It was Wednesday October 13th that they moved me up a date to the 14th. Looks like it's just for the month of October. With dry season coming around mid-November they shouldn't have a problem selling seats every day.
